Handwashing is the preferred method for cleaning post-surgery bras, as it is gentler on the delicate fabrics. However, machine washing is possible on a gentle cycle in a protective laundry bag.
- Wash every 2–3 days. Frequency of washing depends on the type of bra and activity level, with sports bras needing cleaning after each use.
