Handwashing is the preferred method for cleaning post-surgery bras, as it is gentler on the delicate fabrics. However, machine washing is possible on a gentle cycle in a protective laundry bag.

- Air drying, away from direct heat (e.g. tumble dryer, heater) is recommended to preserve the shape and elasticity of the bras.
